If you have a toothache, take a non-prescription painkiller (ibuprofen, paracetamol) according to its information leaflet. Using ibuprofen and paracetamol alternately is more effective.
Oral hygiene is important!
In certain cases, smearing toothpaste on the aching tooth helps to relieve the pain temporarily.
You can flush your mouth with camomile infusion or brine (which have a mild anti-inflammatory effect). Mouthwash containing chlorhexidine also reduces the amount of microbes in the mouth.
See a dentist at the first opportunity. Only a dentist can determine the cause of pain and eliminate it!
